Leadership 101

These sessions are designed to help youth assess their strengths and weaknesses and discover their personal leadership style through a SWOT analysis.

Teen Town Hall Meeting:

Leaders must be informed about the issues of the day. This forum moderated by a prominent leader within the community and includes a panel of youth and adults discussing a relevant current event or topic. 

Community Service Project:

Each year the LaCars' Legacy delegates give back to the local community through a community service project of their choosing. They will research, petition community service projects amongst their peers and collectively choose a project to implement.

Legacy Ambassadors:

Youth who have completed one or more of the LaCars' Legacy programs (Employment Services, Financial Management, Leadership Essentials, Project Intervention) will have the opportunity to serve as a Legacy Ambassador. Legacy Ambassadors participate with program outreach, mentorship, facilitation of programs and the development of community service projects.
